Our Mission: To improve the overall well-being of our community through collaborative efforts of CUFHC health ministries and community partners.
CUFHC serves as a vehicle through which information can be disseminated to churches as well as other community organizations. Through this venue, a greater number of individuals will be reached by networking, collaborating, and coordinating programs and services positively affecting the health of all people in the community.
We are a group of Pinellas County churches who work together collaboratively to improve the health of our community. We know that by working together we can maximize our resources and effectively reach more people. CUFHC is a program of the James B. Sanderlin Neighborhood Family Center.
CUFHC church liaisons meet quarterly and have at least one workshop per year. In our work together, we have been able to establish geographical "zones" to identify the 40 churches we currently have participating so each church can easily see the other churches in their zone and contact them to collaborate in planning activities and events.
CUFHC is guided by a Steering Committee comprised of community health organizations as well as CUFHC church liaisons. CUFHC receives funding from the Allegany Franciscan Ministries.
